Staten Island is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Staten Island is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

BEST sushi on Staten Island. When you walk in, youβre always greeted with a smile and appreciation. Absolutely delicious, fresh sushi paired with amazing service. The menu is packed with authentic Japanese dishes, and the whole experience is top notch. The nightly karaoke makes it even more fun! Manhattan quality sushi on Staten Island. Definitely a must try. You will not be disappointed.

So we have been to this place numerous times and has been exceptional from their regular sushi to their omakase and to top it off their robata. Tonight we had the opportunity to try their tuna cutting omakase and it was over the top. It was a combination of both multiple preparations of Tuna. Sashimi, Sushi and Robata. If you have not tried this place youβre missing out. Sorry forgot to take picks of the Robata. We also had the fresh tuna collar grilled and I have never tasted anything so delicious, cooked medium rare.

My boyfriend and I came for our anniversary and loved their omakase!! The fish was fresh, each piece was unique and delicious. The service was also top-notch, super attentive without being overbearing. I ended up taking off two stars because they allowed vaping indoors. I saw a guy smoke throughout his meal. I know some might not agree on this take but this was something that mattered to me. In such a cozy environment where youβre supposed to savor your meal, the last thing you want is the risk of second hand smoking. Honestly, I wish I hadnβt docked those stars because it really couldβve been a full 5-star experience.

They recommended I get the tuna omakase since they bought fresh blue tuna. Weβve had tuna in various forms, grilled, sashimi, sushi, along side a deep flavored yet slightly sweetened matcha ice cream dessert and I felt this place was one of the better sushi spots in Staten Island and Brooklyn. Pricing was relatively high but the freshness and taste was worth it. I saw other peopleβs food beside us and didnβt really see frozen sashimi but Iβll test that out later when we go back.

Unique place for a Japanese culinary experience with traditional roots. Everything was freshly made and delicious. The chef made Unique sushi with a Japanese twist. I would suggest to go traditional and get omakase. Also their fish is from Japan. They do not use local fish. All fish is imported. Their sake is also delicious. I wish to take pictures but it was take out. Will definitely be back to this place. Came here for second time pure joy. Wonderful experience will return for more special things.
